Ecopilot® interfaces to the existing Building Management System and provides intelligent HVAC control based on variables that effect energy consumption in a building, like what it’s made of, weather, occupancy, machines, and solar radiation, to name just a few. Think of it as a brain for an automation system. Ecopilot®’s algorithm accounts for the thermodynamics of a building, a 5-day weather forecast, and real-time internal building temperature to fine tune the building automation system every 2-minutes based on upcoming heating requirements. This creates a more balanced climate for building occupants as well as greater efficiencies for the installed HVAC systems.
