BEAVERBANK SCHOOL

An eighties-era school in the Halifax Municipality of Nova Scotia

THE CHALLENGE

Ecopilot® was integrated with the existing HVAC system at the Beaverbank Elementary School, operated by the Halifax Regional Centre for Education.  The project aimed to modernize the school, reduce its energy consumption and improve the internal climate for student and teachers. Ecopilot®    immediately went to work to automatically revise the heating strategy and take continuous advantage of the thermal properties of the building.
