Junior Energy Analyst

Role Overview:

As a Junior Energy Analyst at EcoPilot, you’ll play a crucial role in the ongoing measurement and verification reporting to a range of customers across North America.  You’ll work closely with our team to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to sustainable building practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to pre-sales building assessments
  • Energy data collection and analysis

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Collect and analyze energy consumption data from ongoing projects
  2. Complete measurement and verification reports using RETScreen energy analysis and other relevant data sources

Technical Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver customer reports in a timely manner
  • Provide Ongoing Support
  • Support monthly check-ins of assigned buildings to ensure the building is operating efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in building automation controls, HVAC, or related field considered an asset, but not required. 
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM); Certified Energy Auditor (CEA); Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) or Existing Building Commissioning Professional (EBCP); or Building Operator Certification, Certified Measurement an Verification Professional (CMVP)
  • Familiarity with energy usage, energy cost savings, and avoided greenhouse gas emissions calculation methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Commitment to customer service and demonstrated ability to effectively manage simultaneous projects.
